Michael brings a background in architecture and over a decade of hands-on experience building, repairing, and problem-solving throughout Union County. Brandy brings a trained eye for design — the ability to look at a blank wall or an outdated room and see exactly what it could become. Together, we realized something simple: most homeowners were stuck hiring one person for the vision and another for the execution, hoping the two would somehow align. We knew there was a better way.

michael colson
With a background in architecture and over 13 years of hands-on experience throughout Union County, Michael brings precision, creativity, and a problem-solver's mindset to every project. From custom carpentry and built-ins to everyday repairs and full renovations, no job is too big or too small to be done right. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Michael has called the Carolinas home for the past 20 years — and he brings that same sense of home into every space he works on.

BRANDY colson
With a passion for beautiful, thoughtfully designed spaces that began long before becoming a professional, Brandy has been pursuing interior design professionally since 2020. With a keen eye for detail and a natural understanding of how colors, textures, furnishings, finishes, and architectural elements work together, Brandy believes great design is about more than simply making a space look beautiful. It’s about creating a home that feels intentional, functional, and uniquely yours.
At the heart of Brandy’s design philosophy is the belief that home should be more than a place to live—it should be a place of peace, order, and beauty. Every project is approached with that purpose in mind, thoughtfully considering both the way a space looks and the way it makes people feel. Whether creating a complete room transformation, refreshing an existing space, selecting finishes and furnishings, or adding those final details that bring a room together, Brandy strives to create spaces that are beautiful, comfortable, and meaningful. Because good design isn’t just about what you see—it’s about how you experience your home.

AUDREY Goetz-Miller
With 30 years of experience in home remodeling and carpentry, Audrey brings a wealth of hands-on knowledge, craftsmanship, and attention to detail to the Home Duo team. Her experience includes complete home gut renovations, custom cabinetry, and decades of detailed finish carpentry. She especially enjoys the finer details of a project—and, as she says, “I love a good punch list!” Audrey is passionate about helping homeowners find practical solutions to their home repairs so they can enjoy their spaces and experience greater peace in their homes. She believes great workmanship starts with attention to detail, listening carefully to the customer, understanding your skills, and delivering what you promise.
Customers can expect Audrey to treat their homes with integrity and respect, along with a healthy dose of humor—she loves a good belly laugh! Outside of work, Audrey enjoys spending time with friends and family, hanging out with her kids, playing board games, working on home projects, solving puzzles, and cooking good food. Honest. Hardworking. Silly. Empathetic. Audrey is proud to be part of Home Duo, a company built on integrity, kindness, and a commitment to exceptional customer service—a place where she can thrive in the skills she has spent decades developing.

Dacharles Battle has a natural gift for figuring out how things work and making sure they are done right. He brings a practical, problem solving mindset to the Home Duo. The ability to troubleshoot, repair, and build things has always come naturally to him. He's the kind of person who enjoys taking on a challenge and finding a solution. As part of the family behind the Home Duo, Dacharles brings dependability, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to help others.
Outside of work, he serves as a basketball coach where he enjoys encouraging young athletes.
At home, Dacharles is a husband and father of four beautiful girls. His family is at the heart of everything he does. The same dedication he brings to his family are some of the qualities he brings to the Home Duo.
